Math Review - Equivalent Fractions, Improper and Mixed Fractions

Hi Portable 10,
This weekend I want you practicing your equivalent fractions, and also your improper and mixed fractions.

Equivalent Fractions
Equivalent fractions are fractions that name the same amount.

Example:  1/2 = 5/10    or    2/3 = 8/12.

Remember, to find an equivalent fraction either find the simplest form, or multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number.

Improper fractions show fractions where the numerator is larger than the denominator.
