Math Homework - Fractions of a Set

On Tuesday we learned how to find the fraction of a set.  This is when we discover the fraction of a bigger number.  

To do this:

• We learned that we have to separate the bigger number into equal groups.  The denominator tells us how many equal groups we need to make.  
• Afterwards, we have to add the the groups together to find the answer.  The numerator tells us how many groups we need to count.
